Kate has over eight years’ experience working with data from commercial and academic industries covering bioinformatic, retail, transport and customer engagement. Her experience covers most aspects of the data-science project lifecycle, including data cleaning and validation, analysis via statistics and machine learning, customer engagement, project management and more. Kate has a PhD in computational biology, supervised by Prof. Angus Lamond, which builds on a background of mathematics (BSc) and data science (MSc).
